We need a new tutorial. (in General)

So, after getting to know a new player, MrMarvelous, we wanted to see what we could do to help him.... Then we looked at his team.

This is a direct call to all of CB to help us find a new way to do the Tutorial. And also, I stink at linking all the old thought threads so if someone could link those in here too, that would be awesome.

This is well known for a long time.

Unfortunately nothing can be done unless Jon or NS take it as a priority.

I am uncertain if any of the senior admins can do anything about it as it is a programming issue.

I think there are a few of us that would write up a new tutorial, however, without approval from above my pay grade, I think it would be for naught.

Let me sum it up for you.

Jon says it's fine. That it does the job he wants it to do.

And no matter how eloquent or persuasive players have been about this topic, his answer has always been this.

(For the record, if Jon would like to prove me wrong about this, I'd be.... So happy.)

I won't rehash my arguments against the current tutorial. I've done it enough.

i have 3 ppl right now that don't even want to play because it looks disasterous

I know for a fact after several discussions with NS that they are working on designing a flash based tutorial. If anybody out there with extensive flash experience could help designing it I would think Jon and NS would be grateful.
