ToE VS FF (in General)

i am a SFBM and was wondering if it was worth while getting a ToE or a FF. If i use the FF i will get a AoJ and HoC. (would of got the HoC with thee ToE anyway) Just want to hear what people think

of the two, I'd choose the FF. More offense, Fireball is best at killing during ranged, whereas Endurance is more for surviving longer (defense)

ToE is only good vs physical attacks. Vs those it will help you.

The FF will help you attack everyone.

Go with a FF or SF.

will i be lasting long in melee. i am guessing the fireball on my mage will kill my familiar likewise it will kill my mage?

No, you won't last long in melee. Fireball's strength lies in its ability to kill teams quickly... if you end up taking the fight to melee you will likely get slaughtered.
Your mage's fireball will indeed toast your familiar, but unless the opponent has Antimagic Field trained, your mage will not take damage from its own Fireball.

yeah, during melee the fireballs will hit each other and kill each other. Steel Familiar is honestly a better choice, as it casts magic missile, which doesn't hurt you during melee.

it is irrelevant what happens in melee. If you hit melee with a solo-mage, you are toast (unless you are so clever with CoC or SG).

MM beats GA teams, while FB is better overall (including vs MM), it is a choice, but I say go FB.

as far as tattoo goes, RBF + SFBM still works, I think. If you are choosing between just ToE and FF, I say FF.

Combining a quick-kill spell with a tattoo designed for extended firefights seems like a poor choice.

the important thing is that RBF reduce AMF backlash, which lets you skim on HP more. You shouldn't get more than 1 round of damage with the RBF, your FB is the damage source. It was really popular a while back.

A SFBM is not worried about dying from AMF backlash.

For him/her/it the rule is Kill or be Killed-fast.

Your tattoo should compliment that rule.

IMO the 2 best are the FF, SF or even the HF. However, with the HF you lose wearing BGs for NSC.

Certainly it does.

However is that better than having 2 damage dealers?

I do not believe so.
