This actually was an issue brought up about 6 months ago I believe.

The thinking of the majority is that it is part of the normal game, and is "built" into your N*B.

As the server is going down less and less due to upgrades, it all evens in the end.

Like I stated, the majority, not everyone.

I left about 60 BA behind before going to work expecting to hop back on when I got to the office. That was not an amusing surprise. I kept checking REPEATEDLY all day long, just thinking of the wasted NUB.

Demigod's right, one missed day of NUB is equivalent to 7 or 8 missed days for a jan 1 05'er.
