Discussion: Debate Topics (in Debates)

I'd like to start a debate shortly and see how we do in an organized debate. What topics would you like to see, and why?

I would like to debate someone on the effects of video game violence.

I would like to be able to chose my opponent, and I'll be taking the perspective that art can have negative impacts on individuals already susceptible to suggestion.

I'd be interested and I don't really care the topic, but I'm busy till this Sunday, so I would be out of a lot of the debate.

Communism vs. Capitalism? (Ideal communism, not the totalitarian stuff everybody is gonna use as an example as to why it totally sucks and is broken, illogical, etc.

Video Game violence is a good one.
Capitalism v. Communism is too, though definitions would need to be included in the first post.

Any other thoughts?

I don't like this argument because one works in theory and one actually works. I'd prefer to stick to something we can actually debate more effectively about.

gun control would be a good one. i also think drug legalization would be an interesting topic.

Violence in video games...

I have mixed opinions, without violence a video game lacks spunk, but on the other hand, I don't want my kids playing them.

so I can argue (debate) with myself.

Debate something hot in the news so we can gain PR from Google :)

Whether increasing taxes or decreasing taxes is the way out of a recession.

Immigration and/or boarder control
What will happen to Cuba once Castro's brother takes over.

Cleaned up the thread; guys, this is where we try to find some good debate topics for an organized debate, not where we actually hold it.
