Emergency Action Plan (in Off-topic)

There are only two kinds of people in the world. Those with a zombie plan, and those without a zombie plan. If there was a zombie apocalypse, would you have a plan for survival? If not, take this time to plan out key locations around your home that would make a good stronghold, mark where supplies can be acquired, and share this emergency plan with you loved ones.

Zombies aren't real :)
I think staying about 100m above ground level in an apartment block would be sufficient.
Zombies aren't real :)
Yes, zombie aren't real until something aren't real start mauling your dead body.

It is good to always be prepared Emotion. You can wait until the Zombie Apocalypse comes upon you, but the only people who make it out then are people in Hollywood movies. They redo every scene at least twice, and even then, 70% to 90% of the human cast die before the movie is over. The scary part is that we can't have re-takes on a bad scene in real life. When you get mauled by that zombie in your bedroom, there is no director to intervene and say "cut."

been to a Walmart lately?
I've got my plan, bolt hole locations, and what gear to grab. ;)
I'm prepared. Are you?
I have my Green Lantern ring. I'm good to go, son.

Shotgun, fully loaded in the safe.
Handguns, fully loaded in the bedside safe.
Duct tape in the garage.
Full tank of gas in the SUV.
I'm good to go.
the worst thing about bolting yourself in is food, it won't last forever and at some point you'll need to get more food, thats why I use a converted truck fully armored and with shooting holes for the mobile defense!

But when you run out of gas?
At some point you do need to get out of your tank and expose yourself to the world.

Dunno about the US, but you get arrested for that kind of thing in the UK.

Now I know why clothes weren't on his "must have" list.
plan a: get to the armory of the Texas State Guard ( about 1 1/2 miles away and 20 minute walk)
plan b: get plastered til you don't care anymore
heh? the reason why I want mobility so you can search for food and for gas, or just have a trailer behind the truck that carriers gas. And the risk of going out of the truck is minimum as you scan your surroundings first :)
I'll be like Vincent Price and go to the room clearly marked "Armory"........
(That's my favorite scene in the movie...)

Lochnivar has a good idea. I would take a group of survivors to take over a small island.
i would have to agree on the tallest building in your city as my safety, use the roof top for water collection and growing food, obviouslt live on the upper msot floor and convert all other floors into death traps. from what ive seen in zombie movies, is that they cant run or jump, but if they evolved like what ive seen in resident evil 5 well i say plan for the worst!
I'd grab an axe a machete, and aim for a thousand...

you obviously haven't played L4D then Demon of the Fall. You would not want to be on a rooftop for a zombie apocalypse after playing that game.
L4D isn't your average zombie scenario. Besides, most depictions of zombies are slow and mindless.

lol, that's when the unsuspecting tank huffs and puffs and rips your door down. i gotta admit that l4d zombies are pretty organized and smart.
Apparently that did not work out so very well.
A shotgun, duct tape, and explosive barrels.
Uh oh! It's those shambling on fire Zombies again! ;)
