Anyone?

No contest. Belegs everytime. Get them big enough and the damage boost is far more than you get from the strength boost

If you are an archer it is BG hands down. No choice about it.

That's what I thought before, but the recentish change to belegs from 3-1.5 I was wondering if TGs became viable once the str was at a certain level. Guess not ^^

The cut in bonus was only cutting down something that should never have been. The boost is still a good un, especially once they're over +10.

BGs, by far. TGs will allow you a ~20% boost to ST, which will increase your damage by like 6%. The encumbrance boost is also nice, but if your archer isnt putting most of it's encumbrance towards it's bow, it will need all the help damage-wise as it can get :P

If you can kill in one shot with TG's then TG's for the ENC boost, other wise BG's.

Playing an archer, BGs by far.

It is no contest.

pure archer = BG, small archer with SOD to hit in range then big melee weapon, maybe TG.
