So according to wiki, the damage from RoBF os "pure," so it is unaffected by AMF, EC, Evasion, or GA. However, AC is supposed to reduce damage from RoBF (and it does). Is this AC based damage reduction based off of total AC or the + only? If its total AC, similar to physical damage, would SoC help against RoBF? If its only the + AC, similar to magic damage, would MgS help against RoBF?
That is all, thanks!

The MgS does help reduce RBF damage.
Therefore I suspect it is only the + that helps. However, I have not tested this.
Total AC helps reduce RoBF damage. And as far as I know, the MgS doesn't do anything against the RoBF.
The reason the SoC or MgS don't affect it is because it's neither physical damage or magical damage. It's its own special kind of damage. But the flip side is that is almost neutered against even a moderate AC wall.
I got both RBF and SG. You can reduce AC to avoid my SG. OR you can increase AC to protect against my RBF. Your pick?

MgS doesn't help versus RoBF - only AC
Yeah, I can attest to AC destroying the RoBF. It's why I can be beaten by a 1.2M MPR char.
I just tested the MgS vs RoBF and it does reduce the damage just as if it were magic damage. So the MgS works against RoBF.
LA, how about i use AMF and put a mage shield on my Wall :)
Now neither tactic is overly effective :)

@LA
I'd rather protect versus RoBF because SG is GA-able, if you know what I mean.
But its not really to combat you, it was more of a general knowledge question..
I thought of it because I was planning on using 3-4 SoC's to lower Ranger's and DarkDreky's (SHD's?) ranged damage, hopefully resulting in more victories for me.
