our posts for up to 30 min after they are posted?
There are a few times I forget a point or something and I notice it almost immediately.
I know editing forever is a bad idea, esp for public transactions. But what about for 30 minutes after we post.
I've never had a problem with this idea.

For record purposes, it'd be nice if the old post was still accessible, but you'd have to click to see it.

Most other forums have this addition. It is a good idea :)

The forum system isn't as advanced as some other forum systems, so there are all kinds of problems associated with letting people edit their posts. Plus, if people can edit Public Record and FS/WTB posts, then people can change the terms of an agreement after someone else has agreed to it. As far as letting people edit posts in General, Off-topic and Services, I have no problem.

Good points Vexy.. But yeah shouldn't be too much problems for having them in the other forums :)
