Botcheck Alert (in General)

Could we get a botcheck alert on the sidebar? Say when you get a botcheck, but you click away to look at the forums. Have your sidebar automatically update alerting you of an un-answered botcheck (maybe with a countdown clock aswell). It'd be nice.

Second that motion, move to pass in the house! All in favor, aye, oppose, nay!

Maybe with a loud ringing sound out of your speakers, a telephone call to the number you preprogram, along with someone to come over and ring your doorbell alerting you to the botcheck.

C'mon, just pay attention to the game. How do you possibly get a botcheck while clicking away at the forums? You have to fight and take responsibility for missing one.

There are plenty of more pressing issues to fix, including numerous bugs to actual gameplay. Things that deserve more time than this.

There already was a ringing warning in Fexy's forge script, 'everyone' complained about how they wanted it removed...

Oh well since Ranger says it should be ignored, I request an admin delete this thread altogether.

Nope, I'm still all for this idea. I think it would be a good idea for those of us who don't live in CB and have other things we do. like chase after a two year old that is trying to get into the crackers >:). Sound maybe not so much, but a timer on the side bar would be a wonderful addition, maybe placed right under where the link is to get to your page.

I'm for this idea after all the changes in the "known issues" gets fixed, and after the xbow's get fixed. Then, I'm sure even Ranger would be ok with it.

If your doing nothing wrong you wont need an alert.

But on a side note I havent had one single botcheck so Im thinking Ive missed it..

New players don't get them.

Fex's script sound was so weird. If you're sitting a room quietly burning BA, and then it just starts blabbing. First time it happened I was looking for the popup/hidden program.

Not a bad idea. Just a little thing on your sidebar. But a pretty small change. Just do what I do. Wait half a second after clicking fight before leaving the computer or tabbing away from the page :P

As has been said, I'd rather see the known bugs and Exbow looked to before this sort of thing.

Not that it wouldn't be nice, but there are some more serious game issues that hopefully will be addressed first :)

This idea will not be implemented at this point in time. Give me $500, and I'll consider it. :)
