Anna Molly's (cheater) Shield Flashes! (in General)

Check this out

In the third round of melee, Anna Molly(right side of battle)'s shield flashes, even though she's taken no physical damage in melee thus far. Either she's striking back from damage in the same round, or she's striking back from RoBF damage, neither of which should happen. Am I correct, or did I miss something?

She is hitting back from the damage taken that round. This happens because the attacker hits first.

Nothing is wrong here.

I do not get the cheater comment however.

Capacity and Cheater both start with C.. I think.

Lol I thought it was cheating by hitting me back for free before the next round.

I still think that's weird, though. I was under the impression that rounds are supposed to occur simultaneously, at least in terms of physical damage. Obviously RoBF hits first and then Decay, and TSA regen happens last, but I figured SoC flashing wouldn't happen till the next round. In this particular case, without the shield flashing, it's quite possible that my minion could have survived to land 3 more hits next round, which could have turned the tide of the battle.

SoC just happens to be better on the defensive. That has actually turned a few battles in your favor against me before.

Hey!

This is an example of one of the few instances where being the defender gives you a slight advantage.

GA is another.

IE: You are attacking, your first minion, a tank, hits someone and dies from their GA. On his round his tank goes after the minion behind the tank.

If your defending, his minion will hit your tank, which then will die via GA. Saving your 2nd minion from being attacked.
