BMVG Discussion (in General)

I would like to see what everyone's opinion is on the current state of the BMVG. If you think it needs a change then please state why you feel this way and how you would change it.

Personally I feel that the current system rewards people that want to go off and vote for what they want spawned next. This makes it so that loyal people never have a chance to have a say on the matter.

I am not sure how to change it except for people nominating what they would like spawned in the BMVG thread and the majority wins the BMVG until the item is spawned.

Please note that this is a discussion on the BMVG and not the Black Market.

That's exactly how it works. As I just mentioned in another thread, the deviant votes win for the following week. I don't see a clean cure for it, though. If you turn the BMVG into thread-voting, I fear people may voice their frustrations within the same thread, making "issues" worse. It would be easier to have a rolling poll to vote in, but the BMVG is a player creation, not a Jon/NS creation. The poll would require an admin to maintain it, and that's a hassle they shouldn't have to deal with.
