You have to stop GA using a HF.

If your SG is a real spell and not base, it has no part in your strategy. You chose a HF so you want to kill quick. SG needs time. Use MM.

Make your back minion either a DM enchanter or a MM wall with PL/TSA.

First minion perhaps all AS if your back is a DM enchanter.

Get an AoJ and junction a HoC and BGs. Move it to your non-mage.

DM also helps stop EC, which I recall really hurt my Hal when I tried it one time.

DM does nothing to his EC. I does prevent you from casting it with the DM unless you use a RoS.
