I'm living in The Netherlands, a country in Europe.
Since 1999 we've had the Euro introduced as legitimate currency and I have been collecting Euros since.
The problem I'm facing now is capacity. I have around 150 coins, all full sets of 14 countries + loose 2 Euro coins from various countries.
The album I currently have isn't enough any more and I need a new way of keeping them.
Is there anyone else here (possibly living in Europe) who also is collecting euro coins or someone who just likes to help me searching for a good way to store the coins.
Demands / wishes:
- No bank / give them to me ideas please
- No safe / lockbox ideas please either
- Preferably an album, this is the most convenient for me
- I'd want to store all countries + additional coins in the same album, or be able to store them at least in the same looking way (identical albums or additional album versions
I am not collecting coins from all years for the coins, or all 5 different German coins, but I do save the new 2008 set from Belgium. I really need plenty of space in a convenient way.
i have had exellent luck with buying coin collecting supplies on ebay. it is much cheaper and a much better selection.

Which kind of supplies did you buy then?
whitman coin folders as well as some of the plastic air tight capsules for more valuable coins.

Just buy a couple 3 ring binders and a bunch of the plastic inserts for coins. Cheap and effective.

If you have any rare/valuable coins you are thinking of selling someday, having them certified and encapsulated is a great idea. I always wish I did this with some of my baseball cards.
They also have a forum on that site where you can ask around for a different perspective.
You could give them to my bank, where I'd put them in a lockbox stored in the safe........................

The coins I collect aren't really that valuable to encapsulate them in such a way.
Thanks for all the tips so far :)
Also, haha - i live in the Netherlands, a country in Europe. I thought it was in West Virginia!

Please buy that bag shade, my life will be enriched if you do.
I bought the official Euro coin folder a while back for 2 Euro, but naturally, I don't have inserts for the new additions, like Slovakia.
