The virtue of being a decent person (in General)

If you see someone trying to help out a newbie by renting them an item for a low price - new players do not have a PM box - it's generally assumed that you won't be a [Admin Edit] and rent the item that was placed in there at minimum price for that newbie.

Tal Destra, you are a total [Admin Edit], and the game will be far better off the day you leave.

I could have gotten the corn before everyone but I decided to be a good person. :)

It may have happened to me, but I wouldnt see it being funny if I was on your side of it either. He sniped a Rent, it's just bad mannered. I'm very confused how it is even remotely funny. :/

OB - It is in bad taste to make a thread about a personal beef. No matter what Tal did you are not making it any better by doing this.

Tal - it is in bad taste to let your personal beef with OB bleed over to others. Neither is it right nor is it fair to people who have no clue as to what is going on.

Nowhere did he say I had to use it and nowhere did I say I was going to use it.
He just simply said he found one and said he didn't need it, so I said I would take it and 5 minutes later he gave it to me.
Mikel, I don't think you understand and you're making yourself look quite bad. He said he didn't need it and was giving it to a NUB, me being a NUB I said I would take it. Was I supposed to know that he wanted to give it away to someone to use? Was I supposed to know that without him saying anything about that to me? If he wanted to give it away to someone to use it, he should have looked at my characters and realized I had no actual use for it. Shame on you Mikel for having no idea what this is about and yet still pointing a finger at me for doing the wrong thing when I had absolutely no intent to do so.

This is why I do not like threads like this. There is always someone who wants to point a finger. I swear if I had Admin powers this Thread would be either closed or nixed. It serves no purpose other than to allow people to start a mass mess of things.

Zenai, that's similar to telling someone who was ripped off by Monty that bringing their issue into the public is a personal thing and unnecessary - the community should know when someone lacks any sense of civility and _consistently_ does things that are in poor taste.

Believe it or not, there are some people we just really don't need in our community. Monty, Crackmonkey, kitty, these have all been past examples; I've seen a lot of distasteful behavior from Tal Destra since his arrival here a few months ago, and I lump him into that group.

My point is that the community should KNOW about underhanded people and their dealings so that they can take that into consideration in their future dealings with that person.

And yes, I also posted because I'm pissed at him for being a jerk. I know that's just my opinion, but I feel like expressing it.

It is implied that when someone says NEW, that it is someone that doesn't have a tattoo or is still using a Lesser.

Looking over your character, you took it simply to be greedy and took an advantage of someone trying to be nice.

He gave it to you yesterday and today you have it in Auctions. That is shameful. Why don't you give it to someone NEW and help them since it was given to you in good faith.
