Children of the world, sleep in peace. (in Off-topic)

Though they haven't driven the wooden stake through his heart to confirm it yet, it appears that at the age of 50, Michael Jackson has died.

In all seriousness, this is sad for the world of entertainment. He was quite the influence on very many artists.

On the bright side, if you were one of the creepy people who recently purchased any of the items at the Neverland Ranch Auction, you just hit the jackpot!

QBRanger June 25 2009 6:35 PM EDT

He was a great artist.

However, he was also a pedophile.

RIP and good riddance.

The person behind all this is an evil genius indeed...

The poor sick savant has passed. King of pop indeed

God rest his zombie bones.

RIP

ResistanZ2 [The Knighthood] June 25 2009 6:45 PM EDT

He was a conflicted man....

RIP, even though they won't tell about his pedophilia at all, just his golden olden ages.

Demigod June 25 2009 7:02 PM EDT

One of my clients just told me this... I'm stunned. I just wonder if there were any contributing factors, such as medications from his excessive reconstructive surgeries.

Never forget, Never

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] June 25 2009 7:50 PM EDT

Never heard any of his music, (I fear I may have to if dad gets a flash of nostalgia) but heard all about his pedophilia.
Still, all these actors/entertainers dying so quickly _is_ sad.

BHT June 25 2009 7:59 PM EDT

Marl, Tell me your joking! Please tell me it's a joke! No one on planet earth have NEVER heard MJ's music.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] June 25 2009 8:01 PM EDT

Early stuff with the Jackson Five is flawless. Even his early solo stuff had something great.

Demigod June 25 2009 8:23 PM EDT

I've had "Man in the Mirror" stuck in my head since hearing the news.

Ernest-Scribbler June 26 2009 12:46 AM EDT

His music brought joy to millions, so despite his obvious flaws in life i believe it only right to give him some respect in death. By writing these words in disables me from making bad jokes, which is a huge gesture to him as i am an deleted word.

kevlar June 26 2009 1:15 AM EDT

A lot of his music was pretty dang good. Too bad he was such a goon. He could almost be displayed in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame straight away with all the plastic surgery he had done.

DrAcO5676 [The Knighthood III] June 26 2009 10:16 AM EDT

Due to the fact that michael jackson is 99% plastic, he will be melted down into legos for small children to play with

Flamey June 26 2009 10:37 AM EDT

He was a pedophile was he? Every doctor, lawyer and police investigators are all lying and it's a massive conspiracy right? but I guess being accused and then being acquitted really just means you're guilty?

QBRanger June 26 2009 10:50 AM EDT

Yes,

Of course OJ was innocent of two murders as our legal system is 100% infallible.

Colonel Custard [The Knighthood] June 26 2009 12:33 PM EDT

No, that's ignorant.

Mesoshort June 26 2009 12:40 PM EDT

Ah. RIP Thriller master. I hope that one gets stuck in everyone's head along with the image of Jennifer Garner in 13 Going on 30 dancing like a fool.
Myuahahaha

j'bob June 26 2009 1:02 PM EDT

Jennifer Garner in 13 Going on 30...

YEEEAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Untouchable June 26 2009 1:56 PM EDT

Poor Micheal

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] June 26 2009 2:00 PM EDT

His offspring may have a better chance to -not- become insane now, which is good.

This being said though, no one can deny what MJ did for music. So RIP.

Fatil1ty June 26 2009 2:51 PM EDT

oh stop it with all the MJ pedophilia talk. He was an amazing musician and his influence on music is remarkable. Remember the music not the legal battles later in his life.

QBRanger June 26 2009 3:20 PM EDT

That is like saying OJ was a great football player, not including his off the field extracurricular activities.

One has to evaluate the entire person not just the aspects you want to see.

He was an amazing performer, however, he did like his little kids.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] June 26 2009 3:44 PM EDT

I think remembering what he became is important to his legacy and the legacy of savants and geniuses that come after. If we abuse and exploit these people and give them yes men instead of help we'll always be watching a cycle of endless meteoric rises and hellish falls.

QBsutekh137 June 26 2009 4:53 PM EDT

That's what iconism gives you.

Iconoclasm, for the win.

Shark June 27 2009 6:09 AM EDT

Michael Jackson by far, was one of the greatest modern influences on popular music...

It's a well know sad fact that people who possess this higher order of power and thinking are often packaged inside freaks.

If all us got what we deserved as a result of our failures and short comings...None of us would be here worthy of a post

I'm still with the law here...he was never found guilty even though somehow we ALL know he was guilty of something that wasnt right...

Let the man rest ...Get the Fork out he's done
