proposal for wacky time flippage (in General)

    i would like to see that wacky times flipped from tuesday to saturday. on tuesday central time wacky xp time is over by 11 in the morning, but on saturday wacky time is from 11 to 5. i think it would be cool if on saturday we could be finished with wacky xp time earlier and have the rest of the day more free so basically just do the tuesday wacky times on saturday and vice versa.
i do realize that there are many in different time zones who may like the current setup more. what do you think?

    I kinda like too sleep in on saterday. =p

    I think a change to the times/days would be good.

    It would be a great idea to switch the times every other week to give those in different time zones the ability to have things better for them.

    If we were to change it, could a schedule be posted as to what days have what times to prevent confusion?

    We do have a schedule
here and would likely just modify it to show the new times.

    I would not prefer a change.

    Pass of the change. They only way the change would be fair is if is was rolling or random... and I think we've seen where "rolling" and "random" concepts have gone. :)

    (Still not here...)
There are ways to affect gameplay with a change like this that involves when people buy BA. For instance, you can buy BA at 11:50 the day prior, lose the one regen for hitting midnight, then spend it all very easily before the next regen, and buy again for two bought sets and one regened set during XP time.
Having XP time trigger at midnight server time isn't the most desirable of situations.

    Wacky money time on Tuesday runs too late for me to make the most of, but xp time is perfect for me. However on Saturday I miss xp time completely thanks to it being Saturday night, which is not normally a time I'm near a computer! But Saturday morning wacky money time is great!

    hmm, i am not sure i was understood by all. so here is what i was proposing. right now we have:
Money Times: (more money is awarded and less experience)
    * Saturday Midnight to 6:00 A.M.
    * Tuesday 6:00 P.M. to Midnight
Experience Times: (more experience is awarded and less money)
    * Saturday Noon to 6:00 P.M.
    * Tuesday 6:00 A.M. to Noon
What i propose is this:
Money Times: (more money is awarded and less experience)
    * Tuesday Midnight to 6:00 A.M.
    * Saturday 6:00 P.M. to Midnight
Experience Times: (more experience is awarded and less money)
    * Tuesday Noon to 6:00 P.M.
    * Saturday 6:00 A.M. to Noon

    Money Times: (more money is awarded and less experience)
* Tuesday Midnight to 6:00 A.M.  (5am - 11am)
* Saturday 6:00 P.M. to Midnight  (11pm - 5am)
Experience Times: (more experience is awarded and less money)
* Tuesday Noon to 6:00 P.M. (5pm - 11pm)
* Saturday 6:00 A.M. to Noon (11am - 6pm)
UK times in brackets. Money time becomes a no-go area pretty much, and XP time...not too great either....essentially your idea to free up Saturday takes our Saturday away!!!

    Actually that impacts on the Far East quite badly for XP time too...

    you are right jw, oddly enough it puts you in exactly the position we are in now! which is why i would like it changed, hehe! ; )

    The question you need to ask is why Jon put them in the timeslots they're in. Did he not sleep or something back in the day when he introduced crazy times?!!?!

    i think he wanted to apologize to the brits for that whole revolution thing!

    You could rotate the time slots, like Ranger suggests to give fair coverage to everybody.

    So many greedy people in here.
'No thanks, I like it how it is because I have no problem making all 4 wacky times'
Should think about the other people who cannot and change it up every now and then (Every month?). From what I hear, the times have been like this for quite some time now(2+ years?).
Time for a switcheroo.

    Agreed, Burton.
I would like to give up my small competitive edge to others as well!

    I also agree.
Time to switch things around for those in different countries and timezones.
To be fair to everyone.

    Note: It's easy for me to agree to that when I'm not actually competitive. Take my opinion with a grain of salt. :P

    "Take my opinion with a grain of salt. :P"
we always do!  ; )

    We could have random wacky times to really shake things up :) :) :) :) :)

    NS you're my hero if you ever did anything like that. That would make CB soooo amazing imo.

    I reckon that we do one of three things and make a poll to see what the community wants.
A) leave it as it is
B) Put it on a rotation basis as Ranger suggested to provide fair coverage to all.
C) Add wacky times in as Nightstrike suggested.
