Query about the drop system (in General)

A lot of people have reported they haven't had a drop yet... I was wondering if some of the people reporting that trouble have their armor gear maxed? If someone has their equipment maxed for their main character that they fight with, will they still get a drop? Seems like the answer is no... and thus they should be warned to move some equipment to another character???

What do you mean exactly? If they have room in their inventory or have all possible item slots filled?

I have all possible item slots filled and still receive drops.

random implies in most senses no checks other than those stated in the changelog thread. challenging and winning a fight.

yes meaning that you have the max amount of armor (weapons is more unlikely) eqipped or stored... will you still get a drop that excedes the maximum allowed?

I assume he's referring to inventory slots, not item slots.

I would think not but am not sure how it is coded...

I thought the question was answered when this was first announced, but I've been playing it safe and making sure to leave inventory slots open just in case.

I thought someone else asked it when the drops started and got an answer, but I never felt like re-reading those long threads, so just limited my own inventory to be safe (and lazy).

FTR, I verified this that you will indeed go to 11 items in your inventory if you have 10 and get a drop.
