USA Today Article

Well it doesn't come right out and say he was a victim of homicide, but they are not ruling it out either.

Reading the timeline that the physician gave, it was more likely manslaughter with gross medical malpractice to give MJ those drugs without proper monitoring equipment.

I do suspect this physician will lose his license, lose all his non-protected assets and serve 2-4 years jail time for involuntary manslaughter.

But no, it was not homicide. Just actions gone horribly wrong. Or horribly right if depending on your point of view.

As a dad with 2 small kids, you can guess where I fall on that debate :)

The Dr. should be brought before a medical board (or whatever it's called). Criminal prosecution as a murder seems like a bit much considering his real crime is enabling a man who appears to have been a junkie of the highest order. If anyone killed Michael Jackson, it's the monster who sired him.

By all the standards which I know of, if it is true what is printed in the news, this doctor should be tried in a criminal court.

He willfully disregarded standards of practice.

I could not care if MJ begged for these drugs, as a board licenced physician, he should have known better than to give them.

Drugs that he gave MJ are typically only used by Anesthesiologists with numerous medical monitoring devices present. Almost exclusively given in a medical building such as an outpatient surgical center or hospital/hospice.

There is malpractice and then this garbage which is even beyond the realm of what I would even consider any knowledgeable physician to do.

There was a reason this person was paid 100k a month, and now he will pay for his greed.

That must be a typo. This is, after all, a high-profile celebrity case. I think you meant to say "lose his license and serve no remarkable jail time whatsoever."

No,

He will serve jail time.

He is not the celebrity on trial. He is a lowly physician.

Ranger, i belive MJ was never a pedofile, just wanted in court so people can get his money :p
