A Bad Night (in Off-topic)

I'm not sure why i feel this is a good place to vent, but...
We have two dogs, and the younger one started having seizures 6 weeks ago. He is being treated for them but at 11pm last night he just, well i guess changed. He's not aggressive or anything but he is drooling pacing around relentlessly ( for 11 hrs ) and shys away from us. He is the nicest dog ever.
He has a brain tumor and we are putting him down this afternoon after we have said our goodbyes, which we can't because he shys away from us.

I know its just a dog, but he was a great companion and i will miss him a bunch.

Sorry for your loss, I have lost a dog before and I feel it's better to have them put down then to suffer through pain. For you and the dog. Your doing the right thing.

We just rescued a wonderful chocolate lab puppy mix two months ago. It's insane how quickly I've grown attached to the dog, so I can somewhat guess the pain you're going through.
I'm sorry you have to make the tough call, but at least you gave the dog the best life you could.

Each time I put down my dog I cried for days. I had to do it twice.

They are so loyal and give unconditional love.

My heart goes out to you.

Dogs are awesome, you'll miss him so much when he's gone. My backyard feels so empty nowadays, it's just a patch of grass when it used to be his playground and home.

I'm sorry for your loss. I've had to give away or put down a few animals due to sickness, age, and my whole family ending up allergic to pet dander except me. My heart goes out to you and your family.
