What are the conditions in which I may do so? Do I need to have strong political feelings and tons of propoganda to "back it up"? What if I wanna hijack for the purposes of religious argument? What if I just wanna talk Poke Mon, and the idiots in forums have only made threads about a new car and some dead folks? It's cool to just start talking about what I want, right? If not, where's the line? Is it certain users who are allowed to do this? Is it only allowed in OT forum, or is it generally accepted all-around?
Sorry for all the questions at once, just figured in almost 3 years I knew the rules by now... But with people that have been around and well-respected much longer than myself willingly and blatantly violating these, and admins just turning the other cheek and relocating a thread to a forum better suited for the argument rather than the OP, I must say I really am a bit perplexed here...
