So like... I was on my way home from work the other day and I was all like "whoa I'm driving, whoa I'm driving, whoa I'm driving", then somewhere down the road there was this scorpion thing that like, clung onto my pants when I walked by it at some point on my way to the car and stuff. And while I was like, driving and stuff, the dastardly thing stung me like, three times on the ankle. So its all like... Swollen and stuff and I get to go to the doctor's to get it looked at. Its all like, amusing and stuff because it doesn't hurt, but I can't feel it or the surrounding area.
Morale of the story... Be sure to wash your hands before you eat and stuff. And never push on a door that says "pull"... Especially if you're in a hurry. Either that or be mindful of where you step. I'd probably say the second one though.
... sounds like someone is having a little too much fun with the pain pills...
Yup I would have to agree with Jir on this one.
Haha a few months ago I was reaching down for my backpack to get my physics book to study and one was on it and stung me, but thankfully it was only once xD.

xD Yeah I got stung like... 3 or 4 times on the same spot. Fortunately enough tho I can't feel a single thing around that area, so I'm set. And I mean that literally. Not a single thing. I like, poked it with a fork and I didn't feel a thing. So yeah its normal that I can't feel the sting area... Or my foot... I'd rather have feeling in my foot, but so long as I don't have to worry about the sting area I think I'm okay xD
Scorpions eh... Glad those aren't rampant in my area... available in pet stores sure, but I've never seen on "in the wild" :O

When I was growing up I would wake up almost every morning and have gigantic spider bites. I would scare the crap out of myself by reading scary stories as well, and one that always came up when I was looking for something was the one about the spider laying eggs in a girl's face. Every morning I would check to make sure that my spider bites hadn't burst open and the babies hadn't consumed my flesh.
Also, for some reason, I always thought that a nest of scorpions was at the foot of my bed. Even now I just sleep better curled up in a ball.
...I was a strange child.

grew up in the desert. hate 3 things, black widows, snakes (rattlesnakes), and scorpions. Well actually 4 things... goat heads. Goat heads are a spiny nastiness that fall off a type of thistle that always ruined my day if I stepped on one, and living on the farm in the desert as a kid, I stepped on quite a few.
