Average speed (in Off-topic)

Mine was 8.81 kmh (5.47 mph), for the past year.

And I still got some tickets for speeding :)

I generally do 50 ~ 55 mph on main roads, especially in zones labeled 40 - 45. I do about 35 in 25 zones.

So overall, I'm usually doing 10 mph over the speed limit.

And I despise slow drivers.

Which particular mode of transport ?

Not too shabby if it's by foot. Pretty rubbish if by car (which I suspect it is).

I drive 18 miles to the office every day and ~15 miles of it are motorway (highway). I average just over 20 mph on a good day with the slowest part being motorway :(

No tickets though :)

That's by car. I drove 77204 kilometers from October 1st to October 1st with my car, and that comes down to 8.81 kmh on average. I doubt many do more than that in a year ;)

You can only count hours spent behind the wheel. There is no way your average speed is under 6mph...

My car says my avg speed is 46mph, I havent reset it in a few months, so its prolly about right. About 80% city/county driving.

I love fast drivers. Especially those drivers that think that pedestrians don't have the right away. Oh, and those guys who don't use their turns signals, while assuming I won't DARE step into the crosswalk. Oh, yes, nothing I like more than risking my life because idiots need to get home 15 seconds faster.

Oh, and a note to everyone here. While driving, PUT YOUR CELLPHONE AWAY. There are no words to describe how stupid an individual must be to try to text or talk while driving. And that's just it. It's stupid.

My average speed on the highway is about 60, which is the speed limit on the highways I use. I think its hilarious that people get so mad at me for driving the speed limit, so I love enraging fast drivers with my particular style of driving.
When I see one coming up fast in a lane that I'm planning on merging into, but they're so far away that they shouldn't assume that I should wait for them, then I just merge in slowly and halt their speeding rampage. They usually try to merge out as quickly as possible and show me how angry they are as they pass me, but I just laugh exaggeratedly as they pass by.
I have never been in an accident and I've gotten one speeding ticket. It was 2 years ago; before I realised that driving fast only increases your chances of an accident, and an accident can seriously increase your travel time. Unless your trying to get to your own funeral faster ;p

I live right off of a highway, speedlimit is 45, my speed is always 60+, speed limit in the city just south is 55, i always go 65+, and when i hit the interstate and those 70mph speed limits, i just make sure i'm going faster than everyone else. :P

and GW, i always use my phone when i'm in the car. i just use it at red lights lol

Yeah, these people suck as much as the slow morons. You can drive fast without being a butthole.
