3.75-3.8 million single minion.. And what to do?? (in General)

So my ncb ends in about 12 days. I will end up somewhere between 3.75-3.8 million mpr. Now the problem is i have yet to put substantial net worth into a weapon, i've just relied on rentals. So i guess since i have yet to stick millions of net worth into an ElB, would i be better off investing in another ranged weapon, for example the SOD? Also the plan after i up my weapon will be to hire, and then hire, and then hire again. All of the hiring's will be the expensive version. So which weapon should i invest in? And what type of strategy should I look towards down the road? I"m looking for the most effective strategy i can realistically do.. Also i'd like to avoid USD as much as possible.

Firstly I wouldn't look at getting the expensive option unless you're planning on changing your strat completely. The cheaper option will provide you with decent kill slots, which I think you'll find are all you need to survive with. Enchantments at this point need to be pretty large to be worthwhile.

Remember a multi minion team (where the damage dealer is already a large single minion) is best then set up to serve the needs of the damage dealer. Put an AoI on the archer and use the additional minions as a virtual suit of armour to help him last longer.

You've a choice of an ELB, or a mageseeker or a SoD for ranged. Given that you're a TOA user then remember you only need to pump the weapon X, which means you can get a much bigger weapon for a much cheaper price. I'd recommend damage over anything else, and the ELB is the king of damage. Remember with it's level of damage you don't need to invest as much as you do in the other weapons to get a decent result.

An ELB can do nearly twice the damage as a mageseeker for the same price, once you get to a certain level.

So, stick to archery with an ELB would be my advice, pump only the weapon X (get a forger to do it, it'll be cheaper, unless you're in a rush), and if you hire minions get the cheaper option.

Of course, if you want to go cost effective and avoid USD, switch your tattoo to a mage tattoo and go single minion enchanter, junctioning NSCs and DBs across to the tattoo.

um not to poke holes in your advice but the ELB Can not be forged it is a Blacksmith only item.

Oops. Yeah, elven gear..I forgot about that...

Well, disregard the forgery advice for the ELB, but if you choose to go with the SoD for instance: get it forged if you can.
