Melee Bonus to-Hit 306
With a base mace.
very cool... never realized that the dagger and ToA would work like that... I'd love to see touch spells delivered with high PTH low base damage weapons
does the ToA add any PTH to UC?

Edy,
I do not think so. The PTH of UC is based upon its level and not any NW effects.
I have not tried it though.

168 with a base Katana.
o_O
So the NW of the ToA is converted into PTH based on the upgrade curve of the weapon you use. That's great to know!
But I thought Daggers would have a crappy upgrade curve. They shouldn't be anywhere near the top 4?
Well over the top 4, apparently they are a special case (or alternatively smaller base == lower plus cost)
The ToA should add to UC's PTH. But if it's PTH is based n weapon, and not it's own curve, then it could be working badly with it.
So a base top 4 weapon would have higher PTH than the dagger?
Or does the dagger have the best PTH curve in CB?
A Dagger [4x1111] (+200) owned by QBRanger (Heroes)
I don't think the NW on this puppy is over 10m
"But I thought Daggers would have a crappy upgrade curve."
The 'lower' items are weird like that, even for armor. Some of the lower base items have lower upgrade costs than some of the higher ones, then the cost starts decreasing again at the high-end items.
Now, all we need is somebody to go crazy and forge a dagger with a huge X, put it on a minion with a huge ToA, and watch all of the really funnily low numbers that pop out!
Hmmm...
Dagger plus SoC? ;)

"But I thought Daggers would have a crappy upgrade curve."
I think it has the best accuracy curve in the game. But obviously, it has next to no damage, making the high accuracy useless.
"Some of the lower base items have lower upgrade costs than some of the higher ones, then the cost starts decreasing again at the high-end items."
The higher items have a lower -curve-. It doesn't mean the cost is lower for each +. But eventually they catch up due to the lower curve, and are far cheaper to upgrade than the low items.
I have found that the lower the base damage, the higher the cost for x and lower the cost for +.
I believe that UC gets the pth increase from ToA based on a katana's nw.

That dagger is borrowed and with it and its +200, I only get to 450 PTH using my ToA.

With 7+M strength and x1111 dagger. Useless even with its massive PTH. Just another item trap.
The only real useful lower level weapon right now is the Mace. It allows for a cheap combination of the SoC on an enchanter and allows him to dish out some damage. I think we could use a few more interesting combination with other lower level weapons instead of throwing them out or anything. Poison handling gloves to combine with a dagger?
