I like
Comodo. Been using it for a while. Worked excellently while I had Vista 64-bit.

I've never had a virus with AVG. Keep it updated, and use safe practices while surfing the web, and you'll be fine.

I liked both Avast and AVG, but I'm with Knightwarrior on this, I like Avira better. I also use Vista 64-bit, and when I got rid of Avast (I was just trying out Avira) it found stuff Avast never heard of. They're all great programs, don't get me wrong, but out of these three my recommendation goes to Avira.
Avast, Avira, AVG, all the A's are good :). Also, I would recommend getting Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SuperAntiSpyware. You'll be picture perfect then.

dude, with AVG my pc used to enter in wierd urls, pop up a lot of advertisiment, even with the navigator closed.
avg and avast lack of protection, people use it just coz its easy and becoz they waste all the company money in PROPAGANDA/advertisements they pay for the websites say their proeduct is good. check previous antivirus tests i know what i am talking.
