Possible Sellout Solution (in General)

Once an item is upgraded past base stats it is slightly bound to your account.

There will need to be a new trade/loan system for forgers where you can forgeloan it to a forger for a set period of time. During that time that other person can forge on it, but can never use it in a battle. At the end of the loan period it is returned.

If you want to sell it on the auction house you can, it will keep the bonuses you added to it, so no changes there.

If you give it to someone else via a normal transfer the item immediately reverts to base stats.

Basically the idea is to either use the AH to aquire higher than base stat items, or build them yourself, or hire a forger. Selling your stuff for USD will be impossible.

**Possible abuse can happen if they sell for USD then just put up on the AH for a very low buyout, my only suggestion is having the AH not allow a buyout price lower than NW for any item. Of course people can still use this system, but I bet it will be harder to find people who will pay USD + NW of an item in CBD.

How will this stop sellouts?
Users can still sell their items in auctions for CBD, then turn around and sell that for USD.

I guess that's true, guess I should stop trying to come up to solutions for something that doesn't actually need a solution.

The only reason there are sellouts is because there is a demand for sellouts. Economics 101, the players of CB are the ones both creating and complaining about the problem at the same time.

By the way, what is the accepted timeframe you have to play CB for that the community won't brand you a nasty sellout, I've seen plenty of older members selling far more items for more USD than I've seen NUBs sell.

The only solution would be for the community as a whole not to buy from these NUB sellouts.

That much was stated in a few of the past posts on this topic.
