Macross saga (in Off-topic)

So after posting the favorite toy thread a while ago, I got the japan version of the Robotech Macross Saga with English voiceover, and not only is a blast from the past, but so much more enjoyable without all the editing. I don't think I'll ever be into anime, but are there any other series like this out there?

Well, there is more macross. Most of it hasn't come out anywhere other than Japan because the copyright issues are too complicated.

There is Macross Plus (Which I love), which came out in the rest of the world. Its about a singing computer, and has one of the most beautiful songs evar in it.
Macross 7 is about a rock band.
Macross Frontier is about two idol-type singers. I LOVE Macross Frontier.

There are a couple more, but thats about it, really.

The Gundam Series(If you can get the Chronological order right) is a good one. Outlaw Star is not bad. I would recommend Trinity Blood, The Remake of Fist of the North Star, Record of Lodoss War(For Nostalgia), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex(Remake series of GitS), Witch Hunter Robin, and Shonen Jump Bleach is pretty good too. Now for Stand alone animes that in my opinion rock: Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, Vampire hunter D & Bloodlust, Appleseed, Karas: the Prophecy & the Revelation(mainly because it was innovative), Ghost in the Shell 1 & 2(2 is rare to find an English dub of),Akira and just for giggles The Gyver Series(lot of nostalgia) These are just a few picks off the top of my head(I know i have forgotten some) I hope that you see something you like :-)
