Heavy AC vs No AC (in General)

When combating SG, would having a heavy Wall's magic reduction from the + compensate for the higher base armor bonus for SG as opposed to using very low base AC (lets say 0).

One item I am sure is good against SG is the Gi. Other than that I think the rest being a full wall set might be good if you combine it with AP.

NO,

Each + on armor reduces DD damage by .167. So you would need 6x more + than base AC to compensate. As each point of base AC gives 1% more SG damage.

3x with AP being used.

But then you cannot use evasion or any other skill.

oh thanks for the numbers. With a full wall set (I'm using LA as an example of 387 AC) 106 is the base AC. 106% multiplied by .5 (AP reduction) = 53% bonus damage for SG. 387-106 = 281 magic resistance AC. 281 * .167 = roughly 47%. 0 AC outweighs 387 Wall set.

106 AC is +106% damage. 106/206 = 51.5% reduction = 245+ = very doable.

Sorry, that's 294 after SS.
