I've started a new NCB (surprise!), and have placed a pair of Named HG on a base minion with only a base UC Trained.
I've put a large pair of named HG on him, and I'm not penalised by ENC.
I think this is becuase I've got UC trained, and the HG are adding to my UC skill, then the faux UC is being treated as trained skill which increases my ENC.
(Currently at over 3 Mil for a base character)
That's gotta be wrong! ;)

That's the same as putting on a ToA or strength bonus items. This also raises your ENC. It's working as designed I believe.
A ToA boosts the intrinsics you train though.
The HG is just supplying skills levels (at a vastly boosts rate due to the UC cruve) based on it's plus, which is then being turned into ENC for nothing.
That just doesn't sit right with me. ;)

Yes, and additionally it boosts ST which also gives you ENC.
Yeah, the STR increase boosting ENC I'm cool with. ;)
But sticking your HG on a 20 STR minion shouldn't give over 3 Million effective ENC! :P

Maybe, maybe not. After all naming a weapon for instance adds X150. It's in a similar area to that. All that free damage. Free enc works for me.
This is how its always been. UC down at the bottom rocks. You can get up towards 6 mil enc by combining it with a Gi too.
Yup, it rocks, and I don't see a problem with it, UC is mediocre at the top, so it deserves to be awesome down low.
It just help on the bottom, not a bug.
