Now for a monkey wrench in the N*B (in General)

As it has been stated numerous times, the N*B is designed to let you get to 95% of the top MPR at the time the N*B is over.

Well right now Mikel is the top MPR of 5.43M MPR.

LR right now has run a near perfect NCB. Bought all his BA, started with 1600, and has more battles won than fought.

But right now he will get to about 4.8M MPR by the end of his NCB.

95% of Mikel's MPR is 5.15M. With a bit more growth before LR's NCB ends, let us say 5.2M MPR.

So is the N*B just a bit low?

Just ideas for the day.

But all this would be moot if a great idea such as the rolling bonus was instituted.

If he hire's two minions he'll be right there at around 5.2 million mpr. I am assuming. I'm a little curious as to wether hiring minions or not is calculated into the ncb formula.

Minion hiring isn't part of the calculation, otherwise a 4 minion team NUB wouldn't be able to get to 95%.

Time for (another) recalibration...

Yes,

Minion hiring is NOT part of the calculation.

Now with a rolling bonus........it would not matter.

Well that's the thing i do not believe any have yet, aside from LA but we all know how he did it, he used the roe experience. Which aparently was flawed because shortly after it was changed to what we have now.

Also where is the safety from a single minion reaching 5,000,000 million mpr, and then hiring three new minions. I'm thinking that would end up looking like 5,750,000-6,000,000 million mpr. Can you say running away with the mpr lead? This is why I think recruiting minions might be calculated in the bonus somewhere.

I'm fairly sure hiring implications are not included in the 95% figure. Challenge bonuses tail off earlier than ever so yes the NUB does need recalibrating again for 95% to be achievable. I'm guessing that Jon is happy with where it is.
