My first 1800 battles as a NCB (in General)

Yay I started my NCB today! Darn spellcasters just destroyed me. :( that was a waste of good BA.

Yeah the RoBF has problems with fireball.

I found this to be true myself when I ran my NCB. Plan, plan, plan and target, target, target is what I learned. With tourneys, so far, this is what I am learning more in depth. It might be a good way to check out a possible strat :-)

The sad thing is almost all of these lower chars are FB users.

You did better than I did with my first 1800. :P

The largest obstacle in leveling up is that the targets will change. One strat won't be the best from 0 MPR to 5 mil MPR. So you have to either constantly change your strat as you go, or just find one that can be tweaked without retraining, which I would say is the goal of the NCB.

I know when I run my first one, I'm going to shoot for 0 retrains as I level up.

I think what I should've done was, made a FB user and retrained after i got out of the lower ranks.

Yeah IE, that seems to be the easiest way to get through the lower 500k MPR. Since everyone has Fireball and nearly every minion has the same amount of strength trained, making the Exbow null and void.

We should just chip in together and pay someone to let us farm them
