How about all minions train just DM, and have a Fire Familiar near the back? Same as my strategy, pretty much, except its 4 minions and its much cheaper! Its also very easy to find new opponents with this strategy, because its easy to see who relies too much on AS for their HP ^.^

my strat is cheap and specialized! defensive strat focused on GA return damage with SG mage to clean up! and all you need is the RoS... Corns and AoFs are top priority items
Can you afford an exbow of about x4000?

Just get an electric familiar. Put him in the middle. Train 4x Ablative shield max. Attack AMF targets only.
Make sure one minion trains enough AMF to counter decay.
im thinking start your ncb as a 4minion set up equipping the RoE, its cheap.
EC seems to be the new flavor of the week.

The best, cheapest and overall toughest strat as you need is the RoS strat.
Just look at Rawr's character.
Needs little NW but it really does exceptionally well with few vulnerabilities.
Chiefly the RBF and a huge DM.
Train just as Rawr's character using SG as the "mop up" spell.
