In total, 50.5 million litres of pure alcohol were sold in Scotland last year, enough for every drinker over the age of 18 to exceed the weekly consumption guidelines.
From everything I have seen a lot(not all) of places that are known for what they make are not usually the largest consumers of the product. I think this has to do with the fact that they are bored with it hence their reason for exporting it......lol
