Heavy Bow? (in General)

Just an idea for a bow.

[7] base, created by rubbing two ELBs together (using the SY to turn your ELB to an ELB). But it require so much effort to use due to it's size and weight that the minion firing the bow loses 20% of their remaining ST (from 100 to 80 to 64 to 51, etc.) with every shot that does actual damage (ie if ya kill the minion on the first shot of a quad hit, you only take one drain)

Get rid of maximum rounds and introduce 'Stamina'! :D

You lose some each round you attack, and once it's gone, that minion can't fight any more (or regains a little for resting). ;)

Stamina was the whole idea behind it. was trying to come up with a drawback to such a wickedly powerful bow. I figure ST falling off would be stamina in itself with the power slowly fading downwards through ranged :D

And the elb isn't wickedly powerful already?

AdminNemesia [Demonic Serenity] January 19 2010 4:37 PM EST

This seems like an anti evasion weapon almost. It would hit so hard though. With the ELBs already able to kill a lot of teams in like 4 rounds...

If we have a bow with more damage than the ELB, I am afraid novice's head will explode from all the uber damage it does.

TheHatchetman January 19 2010 5:55 PM EST

after 3 shots, the minion firing is at 51.2% of it's original ST, after 6, it's at 26.2% with a minion taking 2-3 shots to kill, it won't be long before the bow user is worn out ~_^

QBRanger January 19 2010 7:23 PM EST

Considering it takes me like 16 hits to beat someone like NWO, I would never use this item unless its damage was 3x that of the elb.

And then it would be too powerful.

AdminNemesia [Demonic Serenity] January 19 2010 7:25 PM EST

So after about 5-6 shots it will be doing about the same amount of damage as the ELB then.

QBRanger January 19 2010 7:29 PM EST

And after another 5-6 it will be as much as a composite bow :)

interesting, eh?
