Question about mouse problem (in Off-topic)

Soxjr January 20 2010 6:06 AM EST

My mouse just started double clicking every now and then and it is annoying enough trying to browse the internet or play games online, but now it has even affected cb. I have now gotten my first 10 minute ban because my mouse double clicked so fast a few times over my first 20 ba that I got the ban. Can anyone help me. Is my mouse just worn out or is there a setting or a way to clean something? Any help would be great. Thanks

I would first narrow down if it is the mouse or not. Try using the mouse on another computer/laptop. Then go from there. If it is the mouse, maybe re-installing the drivers (get the most up-to-date ones if ya can).

Shade I think you are right. I was reading more and more online and that seems to be the majority there. Mouse is worn out. Too bad I can't get a new one till tomorrow. Oh well.

in windows you can, under mouse properties, reverse the left & right buttons to temporarily get around this problem.
