p.s. is that a plastic cover? why use static dust attracting plastic in an audio pc? >.<

I'll do that once I get it and my controller relocated.


I spent 6x more on both the CPU and the RAM than I did on the graphics card.

How much more did you spend on the Sound Card when comparing to the CPU and RAM? Also, what brand / type card is it?

Darn, its $70 now. You got a steal for $30. It even came with that fan too.

It's an Asus Xonar DX. I didn't have enough of a budget to spend more on it.

That card certainly is better than most things out there, I was almost worried you got a Creative Labs ;D

I have to say I've got a CL in here myself, X-Fi, but considering I can't really put much music through yet because of my parents...

In 2 years time when I'm living on my own, this PC will get new sound :)
