Junction/UC/Hal question (in General)

So if I am not mistaken, the AoJ junctions item bonuses and trained skills from the equipped minion. So lets say the junction minion is using a Halidon Familiar and has UC trained as a skill. According to my CB logic, Melee weapons/UC/DD will overtake the use of an ELB or any other ranged weapon. So does a Hal with UC junctioned attack with UC in melee rounds?

UC does not junction over to Hal. Only the evasion secondary effect would junction over.
