I scared T,T (in Off-topic)

So like, at work last night I was taking out the trash... No big deal, easy night so I was gonna get out early and as such was in a rush so I was driving the cart like, pretty fast. What they didn't tell me is that they put up gate (well not really a "gate" gate, its like a really long metal deal that you can push open. That probably doesn't help much) that kinda blocks off the way to get to the dumpster. What's worse is that it was a really dark brown color, so it kinda blended in with the background, and it was cloudy so it was like really dark, and the cart I was driving had very very very dimly lit headlights... Oh boy! I bet you know where this is going! Well as luck would have it, I didn't see the gate until I was about 3 feet away so I had about a quarter of a second to react to slam on the breaks and avoid the metal gate. Unfortunately, the cart also had horrible breaking systems, so I kinda dented the mess out of the gate. There was indeed nothing I could have done to avoid t.hat gate at that point in time. So I'm a little concerned as to what awaits me at work... Well at least the cart was fine.

Tell them what you told us, then add in some part about how you hurt something in the process to a minor extent. They'll be so happy you're not sueing that this'll all blow over soon enough

You should get rid of the evidence and use the cart thing to drag the gate away and drive both into a river or something. It's so evil it's brilliant!

Haha. Just tell the truth. It blended in with the background and should have had a reflective sign on it, say you hurt your back in the process. At which point they'll agree to put a reflective sign on it and ask you to have a couple days rest for your back.... paid of course : )

reflective tape could solve so many of the world's issues! ; )
