The Crazies (in Off-topic)

Went to a pre-screening.

My advice: Wait till it comes on DVD.

It is a type of movie that has been done before, and in some cases much better.

Acting was not impressive and I do like Tim O.

There were a couple of very funny moments and a few scary ones but overall the plot was weak and it was basically a from the frying pan into the fire over and over and over again type of movie.

Since I got to see it as part of a presser, I have to write some review and you guy/gals get to read it.

I was supposed to go see this last night, but my truck broke down on the way to the theater.

*sigh*

I wanted this to be good, but I was only fooling myself...

I would much rather waste $5 on the rental than $20 on the theater.

...$20 because I would be paying for the wife's ticket as well =P

Sorry about that. Hope it is something easy to fix.

I heard that the new Cop movie with Bruce Willis was very funny and well worth seeing.

Cop Out is the first movie in a good while that I've seen a preview for and thought "I'm definitely seeing that!" Then again, Tracey Morgan is funny as hell, and I've been a Bruce Willis fan since I was like 5 or 6.

Far as The Crazies, the review pretty much sums up my thoughts on what it would be from seeing the previews. I'll see it eventually, but won't bother with the theater. ^_^

Cop out does look funny, will see it for sure. Also Alice in Wonderland will be worth seeing at the imax 3d.

I can't seem to make it to other movies, every time I'm near a theater, I just find myself rationalizing, "Well I COULD see X movie, or I could spend the same amount of money and see Avatar at the Imax/3d..."

I've seen Avatar enough times to pretty much have the entire dialog memorized. :O
