ps3 error 8001050f (in Off-topic)

Man, this sucks. Now I cannot go online, the game I was just playing(Fallout3) had its saves all reset to 1999? and I lost my trophies for this game. Who knows how long this will take for Sony to fix, I read it started just a few days ago and its because Clock on the system getting its information from a not very authentic origin.

is it just with fo3 ? ill be mad if i lose any of my trophies ... lbp took for ever to get all the trophies on lol

Im hoping once this is fixed I can just re-sync and retrieve the trophies. And now my online gaming has been reduced to only but a few. Well Day of Defeat it is!

Sony have come under fire after the unexpected '8001050f error' hit the PlayStation Network, bringing the online PS3 world to its knees.
Sony UK have responded to the problem, with David Wilson making the following statement to Sky News:
"We're working flat-out to fix the problem. We've got guys here working on things and our Japanese team have been working through the night to get this sorted."
Mr Wilson then said that " affected PS3 users can still access offline play" or "other functionality that doesn't require network access."
It has been reported however that the problem has affected offline play as well, with users unable to access many of their games that rely on the trophy system.
Widespread data loss has also been reported, and users are currently advised to switch their consoles off until the problem has been fixed.
The 8001050f error is reported to be caused by an internal clock error, and currently only affects the older 'fat' PS3 consoles

I'm glad I got a new 250Gb 'Slim'. Even though it can't play my old PS1/2 games. :(
