Erm, please someone give an explanation why the Fight Feed does display those greek letters and the other pages do not?

Different character encoding?

seems to me the page is displaying the letters fine. the only thing not displaying the correct letters is the title of the thread.

BadFish: so you actually see greek letters alpha beta etc?

With Unicode UTF-8.. yes

With ISO-8859.. no

That's what I see in the title.
In your post, and in the fight feed, and on the character page, I see Byden (in greek letters) displayed correctly.

Using japanese encoding renders some neat katakana instead of greek letters.

On my crappy work PC, I see a long janky mess in the title (numerical equivalents of the letters) and inside the thread I see a different, shorter janky mess that appears as columns of "I"s with a couple of numbers and carat symbols. This PC is fairly bare-bones and I don't expect it to have any language packs added on.

I only see this correctly displayed on the fight feed. On the character page I see what I copy/pasted below the character link in 1st post.

In Firefox.. go to View.. Character Encoding.. and set it to Unicode UTF-8.

In Explorer there is probably a similar solution, but I wont touch that.
