Rules

No Decay

No attacking of characters with less than 40% of their PR in score

Win Condition

1st Place: Highest MPR character defeated

2nd Place: 2nd Highest MPR character defeated

3rd Place: 3rd Highest MPR character defeated

In case of a tie, the first player to defeat the character wins

Only targets defeated within the last 24 hours of the tournament will be considered. You must post your highest target in the thread with a link to the inspect page.

Also pretty hard to enforce, and very easy to ACCIDENTALLY break.

A possible revision would be that if we fight a character that breaks that rule, it isn't counted on the last 24 hours?

Enforcement will not be immediate disqualification; you'll simply get a warning and if you continue fighting the character after that point, then I will disqualify.

As for the last 24 hours idea, I specifically don't want the winning target to be a gimped character :)

what do you mean target? Are there specific targets or just any character is fine.

When I say target I am just referring to any character you might fight.

Does that mean I can't attack any character with 1m PR and 550k score? Or just for targets?

The rule applies to all fights, against potential winning targets or just for normal XP gain. Perhaps the percentage is too high, if anyone can link me to some commonly used targets in tournaments so I can get an idea for score:PR ratios, that would help greatly.

Id suggest rather than being able to tie, it is the first person to beat the certain character

I think this is a great idea for a tourney. Having the potential for many different highest targets is great.

Changed the percentage to 40%, updated rules on ties.

Leave clause for questionability. If your target is in fact a questionable one, even if it still technically fits under the above guidelines, poo for you. An "if i don't feel comfortable with the win, you get nada". Otherwise, it'll just be a fresher gimp that takes home the prize.

Every potential winning target will be checked regardless of score:PR ratio to see if it is a legitimate target.

I am going to assume multiple taps are not counted; however, it is not mentioned in the rules. Is my assumption correct or should I save 100 BA to try to beat someone?

I sucked I finished with around 300 ba unspent and had about 50 available at 12:00 ending time...also my highest does not appear to beat even 3rd. If for some reason someone fails, check my last farm It may be 4th so by default move up. I don't remember the name and it' won't let me check my tourny characters recent fights list.

Upon further inspection, I have decided to give out two second place prizes. EliteofDelete's target does not meet specifications (36.6% score:MPR ratio) however, I am inclined to believe that at the time of the fight, it did meet the 40% requirement.

I really liked this, although it was kind of demanding to be almost always on to fight for those two characters at the same time (good thing I'm almost always studying or working on the computer :-)
Me too, I was expecting some kind of dramatic finish but I guess everyone had already gone as high as possible before the deadline and knew it.

So technically I got 4th and noone else but 4 of us posted our scores.
so then technically I placed last. I am also willing to bet that if anyone else had posted there highest character I may very well have been 5th or 6th. Either way it was good clean fun and I hope there is more tournys with BA caps as some of us have limited time. Thank you slayer for another great tourny.

I didn't post, but since the highest MPR that I beat was only 246K, you definitely didn't come in last AK. ;) Elite took me by surprise at the end; I don't know how many times I farmed Bordem before I realized he'd untrained...
