EXP X-fer between Minions (in General)

Just a quick query.

Would the transfer of EXP from one of your minions to another completely out of the question? What kind of loopholes are there if such a system was in place?

For the time being, yes, completely out of the question.

As for a loophole, how about "getting as much XP as you like, as long as you can pay for it" sound ?
How ?
Hire new minion (for up to 1/9 of best minion XP), transfer XP from new minion to highest XP minion, dismiss worthless minion, repeat as many times as you like.

The closest you can get to that is using the Rune Of Enlightenment. It won't let you transfer existing EXP, but it will give the team's future EXP to the wearer of the rune.

Ah OK. That makes sense. Wasn't sure how the Minion Hiring system worked.
Yes I can see how that loophole would be completely out of the question.

I'd need a Rune of Enlightenment if I want one of my minions to catch up to the level of the others.

Isn't there an item or something that does the same thing? Something that you apply to a minion that lasts for 24 hours (or thereabouts) and let's that minion gain all the EXP?

Nope, it's all about sacrificing one benefit for another. If you want to strengthen one minion, you have to play without your normal tattoo. Otherwise, a lot of us would have a super-massive damage dealing minion.

And at larger levels, it'll take much, much longer than 24 hours to gain enough EXP to matter. You're out of luck there.

I proposed this to Jon a while ago. His answer was funny, as I recall. I'm sure you can imagine something equivalent :)

This is simply too easy to abuse.

Money buys new minion -> exp transfered to bigger minion -> new minion fired -> buys a new one again.


Buy BA if you want more exp ;)
