Something's wrong with the server again (in General)

Sickone July 26 2010 2:53 PM EDT

I keep getting those "CPU usage high, don't fight so often" messages, battles I fight do not always show up in my "recent battles", and everything acts really sluggish.

Has it been this way for a while now, or is it just something happening in the past few minutes (and hopefully only next few minutes) ?

Sickone July 26 2010 2:57 PM EDT

Oh great...

"Didn't I say it's not polite to fight more than one battle at a time? You'll have to wait about 10 minutes now for fight to be reenabled."

79 battles fought, 31 show up in recent battles list (those that do show up are from 2:50 PM to 2:55 PM). 81 BA left that can not be burned.

Started going MUCH slower than usual, taking a pause before each ENTER key push, and all the following 87 battles now show up in the battles log... but I still got one of those CPU warnings even so.

" Load average for past 1/5/15 minutes is 1.06/1.23/1.16 "

So is that supposed to mean 106%/123%/116% ?

AdminNemesia [Demonic Serenity] July 26 2010 4:18 PM EDT

That is in seconds. 1.0 is 1 second for load time.

I'm seeing more suspension pages than I'm seeing fight pages right now :P

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] July 26 2010 5:15 PM EDT

I'm fighting at the usual speed, no suspension pages or loading pauses.

AdminShade July 26 2010 5:25 PM EDT

shouldn't those times be like this:
Load average for past 1/5/15 minutes is 0.18/0.15/0.37 ?

Seems to be resolved again?

Sickone July 26 2010 7:00 PM EDT

@ Natasha : I'm relatively sure that's not what it is supposed to mean.

@ Shade : Yeah, seems to be back to normal... any idea what could have had happened ?

It's percentages, 100% for each CPU core.

And, yeah, there was an issue with the tournament init code. Not sure what the current state is :(
