Definitely. But at least it is universal healing. It would really suck if you couldn't get healing for your dead minion ^_^

Quick question: Is the healing cost before applied after "total money"?
healing cost is applied before the battle starts. It is essentially for the battle before.

Would it make sense to change it such that the healing cost is applied right after your current battle ends? That way you can correlate damage taken with the amount you paid to heal.
Before this I didn't even really know you had to pay to be healed. I'm also assuming that once you hit negative HP you only pay from 0 to max health, right?

I remember this from CB1 as well. And yes, it caps at max normal health.
Soooo... Will we be seeing messages like this in chat now? "can someone send me 500gold I cant pay to heal so I can fight?"

It's the same as it's always been. It was just a hidden cost. And that can happen.

Well, while we're on making complaint causing changes... any chance the healing cost could be applied at the end of the current battle, rather than at the start of it? If you don't have enough to heal it makes to me more sense to find out at the end of the battle than at the start of the next one... that and it just makes more sense to see that as a number for "punishment taken from this battle".
If this already the way it is and Natasha's wrong (I've found her to be next to infallible so far though, so...) then disregard me.

And no, it won't change. It's at the beginning of the battle because you won't heal until you try to fight. This is by design.

Single minion healing costs:
0$ for absolutely no damage taken
4$ for ANY amount of damage taken but still alive
25$ if dead
Experience 1,329 1,327

And my minions took damage in that fight.

The Battle Ended in a Draw

So, single minion teams have a slight benefit here over multi minion ones! :P
Right, I tihnk I've got more of an answer.
For my two minion, I can take damage, but as long as they don't die, I don't get any helaing cost.
If one dies and I win the fight, it's a $-4 cost. If I lose (becuase both die) it's $-25 per minion.
I think this migh thave to do with me not having any natural HP, only AS. So unless my minions go below 20HP (which would usually result in death) I don't get charged for healing.
Another benefit for AS.
So my healings costs are either;
$0 (Don't take damage to take me below 20 HP on any minion)
$-4 (One minion is reduced to negatives, but I still win)
$-50 (Both minions die)
I don't seem to be able to be charged $-25 at all.

I suspect it's similar for higher minion count teams:
* no damage taken = no healing costs
* any damage taken but at least one minion alive = -4$
* all minions dead = -25$ * minion count
on my team, I pay $0 for no minions dying
$4 for 1 minion dead
$9 for 2 minions dead
$103 for all minions dead
not sure on other values, but i would guess $13 for 3 dead and $18 for 4 dead.
But i am an AS user, not sure what happens without AS.
What happens if none of my guys are hurt after a battle? Do I still have to pay the tax? Seems unfair since that is what happens in most of my fights..... I don't like the idea of carrying others on my back.

Healing cost = 0$
Problem is the healing cost appears in battle X+1, but you pay it for the aftermath of battle X, not battle X+1, so you might get a bit confused by that.

A quick check for me yielded -4's and -9's and a -97 for when I lost
