I woke up one morning and decided to try to get good at Origami. Any tips for an absolute beginner? Any experiences here?

really sharp creases are good creases, it should always just look like the edges of two sheets are joined together
I don't know what kind of advice to give you other than check out how-to stuff and follow the instructions, but I like making paper cranes and such. :P
Must be the origin of your moniker....odd bird.

youtube .. loads of videos and how to's on there (way easier than following a book) or secondly the local library for books but they are quite popular
