A Zelda sunset (in Off-topic)

I was on my way home this evening from work. The train was passing through some fields with some horses running about. The sun was very low in the sky and turning the whole scene a shade of orange pink. For a moment it reminded me of The Legend Of Zelda, the lighting in the game as it moves towards night while it is still safe for you to move around the countryside.

I really wanted to turn around the person sat next to me and point this out, but they probably wouldn't have known what I was talking about!

You should've asked anyway. If the conversation turned out awkwardly, you could always reload to back before you got on the train.

Everyone knows Zelda. Even my mom has played it.

who's zelda? sounds like one of my grandmas bingo friends...

I dunno, I know a lot of people who've never (and I mean NEVER) played a computer game.


Meanwhile, save points in RL would have made my life a completely different place. You know when you get into a game and you find out that there were things you should have done early on that would have made your character bigger, better? I know I missed out on some good bonuses back when I was younger and sold some decent items that I'll probably need in the final boss fight.

Everyone would love save points. Alas it is MMO style where whats done is done. But you can usually try again.

Why didn't you have an instant DSLR with you to take that wonderful priceless picture?

Unfortunately I was on the train, and the windows were thick and dirty and catching too much light to get a clear shot.

Still the camera in my head captured every detail!

If I had one super power, this would be it.

Not to mention all the re-dos on any personal screw ups.

Would save at birth, have many saves from then on, and have multiple lives if one got boring. Instant immortality!

Whatever! We are playing Hardcore ladder right now! Much more to lose upon death and more excitement. (Diablo 2)
