Future Contest (in General)

Dear CB,

     In December I will be holding a referral contest where I challenge CB as a whole to gain a large amounts of referrals. This can be done through your referral link or just showing someone CB ( as long as you let me know and the referred agrees ). Other than the amount of money you can make just from the referral link, I am going to be offering prizes for CB as a whole when we reach a certain point. These prizes would be in the form of changes hopefully to gain more users and possibly retain them. For example, the first item on the list is a sign up app for the iPhone. Also, I was wanting to raise some money to give to the best referrer and the person who has the most referred stay over a month.
     This is where you come in. I will be donating an extremely large amount of my time, and 5M CBD. I am looking for people to donate to the cause. The more money I raise, the more I can give out, and maybe we can get more referred. If you would be interested in helping me out with this. CM me the amount you would be willing to donate, or if you think you can help me out in some other way let me know. If you want more details, you can cm me also.

i would also open it up to item donations if you have enough inventory or character slots to hold some items. we had good luck in s&f doing so and are done with it so i am sure many of us would just send our drops your way! ; )

Great idea dudemus. I will also be accepting any items you wish to donate. Even if they are not amazing, go ahead and send them over if you wish. Large/Valuable items I can sell of and contribute to the prizes. Smaller ones, like katanas or even base elbows, I could give to the first "x" number of referred. So, like when they join, I could send them a katana, let them know that it's a better weapon then they would get for awhile.

i think ob got rid of all of the stuff on the shroom drive character but you might want to cm him and see if he had any leftovers or any donations since we got all of our shrooms. i think donating them to something that would help cb out would be fine with all involved!

Will do dude. Also, if anyone is interested in donating USD, I will combine all the USD I receive, and work with NS/Others to find a good play to place an ad, and any referrals that come from that ad, I will add to the total.

Depending on the success of the contest I'm willing to help sponsor directly from my admin characters.

We discussed earlier in chat but for the benefit of those reading the forums I believe that the initial appeal of CB was for users who couldn't play "normal" games due to bandwidth or PC performance issues.
Almost no-one has those issues nowadays so we need to aim for the people who want to play games on their phones. Nothing new there as many people have already said the same. We just need to actually get around to doing it. Well done Titan and others who are working on such things.

Next we need to get the Facebook app back up and running :)

There is still a good deal of stuff left on the Shroom Drive character. I was holding on to it to use in a future contest, but I haven't thought anything good up yet so you are welcome to it. :)

I will set aside cashola for up to 5 Supporterships and Special Items.

We can discuss how many referrals they will need to qualify for Special Items and how long the New Player should play before getting the Supportership.

Aye, that's a far higher priority. I can't fathom how that particular bug has remained unfixed for so long.
