Strategy advice for FireAngel (in General)

Hey :)

As some already noticed I returned to the game after 2 years and I kinda need some help on strategy.

I remember I always liked my char FireAngel, however I'm not sure if this char is still ok the way it is.

I would like to stay Tank/Enchanter/Wall (or any other way round, but I definitely don't want to fire any of the minions and as I have quite a bit of tank equip lying around I would prefer a tank over a mage).

So,I would need advice on the following:
- if the skills trained are still doing good or if I should change some of them
- what equipment each of the minions should have (if it's expensive it's ok, I'd just need like a long-term plan which items to get)

P.S.: Please don't tell me to start an NCB in this thread, I know that this would be the best thing to do in my situation and I'm still considering that. But even if I should start a NCB I would like it to go into a similar direction, so strategic input on FireAngel would still be valuable to me.

Thank you very much :)

Thanks for your opinion. I think back in the day the PLink was added so that the enchanter dies first (he has almost 300k HP due to AS). Not sure if this would still work nowadays.

Would PLink on the Wall be necessary although my tank is wearing an AoI?

PLink would be necessary against decay or Shocking Grasp. Otherwise, your tank should be fine.
Seeing as you already have AMF trained, you would (in my opinion) be best off untraining PLink and putting the majority of xp into AMF.
Possibly train something on Stone Angel so they are contributing to the fight.
As your tank is most of your damage output at the moment, i would suggest either training GA for a bit of extra damage or changing his evasion to bloodlust.
Glad to see players coming back, and i wish you luck with your character.

Most everything you have is just fine. Move Stone Angel to the Front Train Armor Proficiency and Put All wall equips and concentrate on upgrading that gear to the magic 477 AC and you should do fine :-)

Welcome back WE! :D

I agree with Z on this case - your strategy is fine the way it is. I wouldn't suggest untraining.

I'd suggest picking up a Mace of Disruption. The BoTH is still a good weapon, but the MoD is awesomeness.

Oops, double post! I'd say move Stone Angel to the middle, not the front, given that the front minion is wearing an AoI.

Thanks for your help :)

Getting Spellboosters and a BoE for my enchanter would probably also make sense (those were released after I left).

Also: Hey OB :)

For the lower ranks the AoI works wonders but as you move up the ranks then it becomes a 50/50 Item with all of the high + weapons floating around. The best way imo is to couple it with DBs and Evasion all three will enhance your chances of being missed. However with you wall having high AC then it will alleviate the need for all of that and you can focus your enchanter more on magic.
