As a new guy... (in New players)

One, definitely it takes the help of people to get into this game and I thank Mike_Hawk and novice particularly for that.

90% of my pain/frustration as a new person is having this screen of 'You can only fight one fight at a time.' keep popping up. I have slowed how fast I fight down to a crawl and it keeps coming up, it seems pretty random but once I see it I am going to keep seeing it until I get the ten minute lock out.

Yeah...it is the bane of us all! :(

Am I the only one who never gets this screen? I think I've gotten it all of once or twice in the month I've been here. *shrugs* Then again I only have 2 people on my fight list >_> making it kind of hard to get I suppose.

Anyway, yeah Adsill everyone around here is quite helpful, I've seen you in chat asking questions which is the perfect way to gain an understanding of the game. So keep doing that and you'll catch on quick.

The community here is great, probably because its so small, but it makes everyone feel like family :D

I very very rarely get that screen as well. I wish we could pinpoint why it happens to some people and not others so that the problem could be fixed. 0=)

I find if I increase magnification of a page and get CB big enough to see the 'fight' link but so big that the fight feed is off the page I fight faster and don't get the messages. Helps me click through a large amount of BA through a slow connection quite quickly.

"Asterisked opponents -- those marked with * -- are comatose. You'll have to find someone else to fight until this one recovers."

That is the bane of my existence

I notice it more at home than I do at work so I'm under the impression it has something to do with computer hardware.
